We are bringing wildlife and wild activities straight to your home!
This week, Essex Wildlife Trust launched WildlifeTV, a digital way for you to engage with your county's wildlife and learn about the ways we can all help protect it.

From top tips on how to make your garden wildlife friendly and wildlife safaris to wild workouts and outdoor learning classes, we are determined to give you your daily dose of nature, even if you're stuck indoors.

This week our videos were posted across our social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram) and at the end of each week all of the videos will be posted on our new YouTube channel.

Each week we will be posting a TV-style schedule on our website so you can tune in when's best for you, or join in by using #EssexWildlifeTV on social media.

Alongside our digital episodes we also have three live wildlife webcams up and running: our barn owl webcam sees a new owl couple for the seventh year in a row, our resident family of badgers are going to bring this year's young out any day now and our soprano pipistrelle maternity bat roost had 50 bats in it earlier!
Despite the lockdown, there are still so many ways you can connect with nature and we need wildlife more than ever right now. We'll continue to update you on news from the Trust and give you ideas and opportunities on how best you can stay connected with nature.
Stay safe and stay wild!

Havering Park and Open Spaces

Havering has a great deal of park land and protected countryside. In fact it covers more than half of the borough. The council manages a large variety of sites from small village greens, to large urban and country parks. In partnership with community groups, we work to constantly improve these valuable assests. This   guide covers a selection of Our Parks and Open Spaces.
